China Quality News Network (Reporter Zhu Wenda) Recently, the 2024 annual meeting of the National Technical Committee for Pulleys and Belts and its Sub-technical committees for Conveyor belts, Synchronous Belt Drives, and Friction Belt Drives was held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Over 130 committee members, advisors, and representatives from related enterprises attended the meeting.
As the secretariat unit of the Friction Belt Drive Sub-technical Committee, Qingdao Product Quality Inspection Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "Qingdao Quality Inspection Institute") assisted the National Technical Committee for Pulley and Belt Standardization in organizing this meeting and related technical discussions, and on behalf of the Friction Belt Drive Sub-technical Committee, made the 2024 annual work summary and 2025 annual work plan report.
During the conference, over 50 members of the Friction Belt Drive Sub-Technical Committee, specially invited experts and advisors conducted in-depth and detailed discussions and reviews on the draft of the national standard GB/T 33206-×××× "Test Methods for Performance of Automotive Multi-Ribbed Belts". After thorough communication and discussion, a final decision on amending the standard was formed. The Qingdao Quality Inspection Institute will actively fulfill its duties as the secretariat of the Friction Belt Drive Sub-Technical Committee, and work with the standard drafting unit to further improve and optimize the draft for review based on the discussion results of the meeting, and promote the review work of the draft for approval.
It is learned that the Qingdao Quality Inspection Institute will give full play to the advantages of the public technology service platform, conduct in-depth research on the development needs of the industry and the trends of cutting-edge technologies, fully release the diverse functions of the standardization technical Committee in carrying out the formulation and revision of standards and promoting the implementation of standards, and make greater contributions to establishing a scientific and rigorous high-quality standard system and facilitating the transformation and upgrading of industries.
